Procedural Landscape: Arid Desert

Procedural Terrain Generation
My recent endeavor in procedural terrain generation using QuadSpinner Gaea.

Every topographic feature of this landscape was procedurally generated, namely the elevation, the erosion, the flow, the sand, and even the interaction between the sand and the surrounding terrain.

The landscape was manually textured within Adobe Substance 3D Painter using a variety of maps used as masks such as rock protrusion, soil, flow, etc...

The rendering was done using Blender 3D. The post-processing was done using Adobe Lightroom.
